@@sadfool This is out the box, returned for a refund. This was my second high end reel from Daiwa and second time disappointment. I like how the handle feels, the looks of the reel but too many people also complain about the noise from various Daiwa's high end reels so I just returned for a refund. I didn't really have brand preference but now I do, I guess i am Shimano fan from this moment on.

@@sadfool I think I'm going to get a exist sf 2500 since it's as small as a 2000 and lighter.. most my fish I catch are bass, mackerel, bonefish, sea bass, Bonito and other game fish mostly in 1 to 4 to 5 pounders.

@@sadfool san diego california..we have lots of nice fish here ...im just a bit worry in the long run on the SF reel as it dont have a ball bearing in the end of the pinion gear like the normal exist , but then again i pump pull with my rod and keep it nicer less load on the reel so should have any issues as the pinion gear still sits on 2 bearings , would been nice if they had 3 bearings...can see all my fish attheig bukon_fishing but youtube deletes when i mention other social mead lol
